Risk factors for treatment failure in step-down oral antibiotic therapy for uncomplicated bacteremia secondary to a urinary source
Abstract
Overall, 32% of patients in this study experienced treatment failure. History of renal stones and AKI at time of transition to oral were associated with an increased risk of treatment failure but fluoroquinolone use was associated with decreased risk for failure.
