About Our Repository

The Parkview Health Research Repository is Parkview’s institutional research repository, a place where research and scholarly output will be preserved and shared with the public. Made possible by the Parkview Resource Library, the Parkview Health Research Repository is on a Parkview-branded site on the Digital Commons Network™, which makes the work created at Parkview accessible worldwide through permanent URLs while establishing intellectual property rights.

Parkview is one of the first nonacademic health systems to have an institutional research repository with Digital Commons (BePress, now owned by Elsevier). In fact, we are one of only 18 in the nation and the first in Indiana.

Parkview Health Research Repository Goals:

  • Increase visibility of, and access to, Parkview Health researchers by disseminating publication information.
  • Showcase individual researchers, clinical specialties, and Parkview as part of the system’s publishing initiative.
  • Identify and maintain an enduring, digital record of Parkview research in the format of publications, presentations, and posters.
  • Increase awareness and provide support of Parkview Health programs.

  • All Parkview employees active in professional publications/articles, posters, presentations are asked to submit their information to be included in the repository.
