In this evaluation, insufficient crystalloid trial was the biggest driver of inappropriate utilization, suggesting need for a more standard process. This finding highlights a potential practice gap in fluid resuscitation strategies and reinforces the need for adherence to guideline-directed crystalloid use before escalation to albumin.
