Abstract
Presented at Midyear Clinical Meeting.
In this study, pharmacist-managed patients achieved BP goal 80 days faster than provider-only patients. Integrating pharmacists into care teams helps patients achieve their BP goal faster through increased visits and closer follow-up. Pharmacist managed groups had less therapeutic inertia regarding drug class changes.
