Evaluation of a pharmacist-driven electrolyte replacement protocol in a community health system
Abstract
This evaluation found a higher rate of pharmacist consults for electrolyte management, though these were not always indicated. Repletion via oral route was not optimized and there were opportunities for improvement in protocol alignment.
