Evaluation and reduction of pediatric precaution alert volume across a large community health system
Abstract
Presented at the Midyear Clinical Meeting.
This evaluation found the potential to remove 15,174 alerts per year. Based off a physician spending a median of 8 seconds processing an alert, a reduction of 15,174 alerts per year saves about 34 hours of physician work-time per year.
