VALSARTAN-SACUBITRIL-INDUCED RECURRENT PANCREATITIS: A Rare Complication in Heart Failure Management
Abstract
Complex Clinical Cases: Case Study:
A 70-year-old female presented with sudden epigastric pain for one day. She had a history of cholecystectomy three decades ago & denied alcohol use, abdominal trauma, or prior endoscopic procedures. Labs revealed elevated lipase levels, confirming acute pancreatitis. CT scan showed pancreatic edema. She was treated symptomatically & was discharged later. Notably, a month ago, she was diagnosed with Heart Failure and was started on Valsartan-Sacubitril.
